Technical Services Surrey have recently completed the installation of a Buderus cascade system featuring two GB162 100kW boilers in large and luxurious 9 bedroom, 10 bathroom Georgia style mansion.
The new heating and hot water system replaces the previous installation which mixed underfloor heating, radiator heating and domestic hot water provision and as a result, was highly inefficient. The new system has been designed to provide underfloor heating throughout the property and will also provide domestic hot water and heating for a swimming pool which is presently under construction. This installation overcomes the complexity of having various systems working against each other and now offeres a high efficiency and effective system which is simple to operate.
The addition of a Buderus FM10 control module to work alongside the boiler management system increases system flexibility and maximises efficiency by providing continuous modulation. This improved functionality allows the underfloor heating to operate at a 40oC flow temperature, the domestic hot water at 60oC, with a weekly 70oC 'disinfectant' programme.
Technical Services Surrey and their client are now extremely happy with the installation.
