[Hotel "Grande Bretagne", Athens]

child file of 601 The home of merchant Antoni Dimitriou, which was designed in 1842 by the Danish architect Theophil Hansen, and which later became the residence of the first king of Greece, King Otto and his Queen Amalia, was converted in 1874 into the hotel "Grande Bretagne".

This hotel with its historical past, is located opposite the Greek parliament, and has strong connections with the national history and life in Athens.

Almost all international personalities visiting Athens "end up" at the hotel “Grande Bretagne”. For heads of state, kings, patriarchs, politicians, industrialists, scientists, artists and actors, and all who make up the international jet set, Athens is synonymous with the "Grande Bretagne".

boilerThe newly renovated "Grande Bretagne" has again become one of the most luxurious classic hotels in Europe.

To meet the heating demand – the hotel covers a total of 22,776 m2 – three Buderus Logano S815/1000 kW steel boilers were installed. Logamatic R4311 and R4312 control units with a FM 447 strategy module provide the overall control of the heating system.

The design was expedited by L.D.K Consultants (Athens). The installation was carried out by Eltaek (Athens).
